Ayerbe
Ayerbe is Villa of the Aragonese Central Somontano (Spain), to 28 km of Huesca in the autonomic highway A 132 in the direction of Pamplona. It has railway station in the line from Madrid to Jaca and Canfranc. It is located in an excavated erosive depression in the marly surface of the tertiary era, to the left of the Gállego river, enjoying sky it cheers and healthful climate. The geographic situation on leaf 247 of national topographic map 1/50,000 of the Geographic and cadastral Institute is 42º16´30 "of length and 2º59´50" of latitude, with a height on the sea of Alicante of 582 m. They compose its territory 6,329 Has. that they limit by the north with the terms of the Rocks of Riglos and Loarre; by the east with Loarre and Loscorrales; by the south with Lupiñén-Ortilla, and by the west with Biscarrues and Murillo de Gállego.
With land apt for the irrigated land, in general it is of dry land, loose and stony formed by extensive level that is sprinkled by small isolated hills. The oak, the almond tree and now recovering the grapevine and the olive tree occupies great part of the earth also populated by romeros, aliagas and other shrubs in added of the grass, cattle sustenance and an unlucky hunting of rabbits, hares, perdices, doves...
