Aughrim
Aughrim is a village in County Galway in the Republic of Ireland.
It lies on the main N6 road between Galway and Dublin.
It was the site of the Battle of Aughrim during the Williamite war in Ireland in 1691.
It had a population of 546 according to the Irish census of 2002.
