Archie (Linux)

Deafult Archie Desktop

Archie is a LiveCD version of Arch Linux. It incorporates the Arch Linux base and uses the XFCE4 window manager by default.

Highlights

  • Built with the KISS philosophy in mind.
  • Archie uses the Arch Linux and boots very quickly because it is optimized for i686.
  • Archie allows unrestricted access to the command line.
  • Archie is very lightweight. The XFCE4 window manager does not consume a lot of resources and Arch linux also minimizes the number of background processes required.
