Ansan is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
Ansan is situated on the coast of the West Sea (Yellow Sea). Various West Sea islands lie within its jurisdiction. The largest and best-known of these is Daebu Island, home to the Ansan English Village as well as an active tourist industry.
