Ann Martin

Ann Mathew Martin is an American author. Martin was born on August 12, 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey. Martin is the author of The Baby-Sitters Club series.

After Martin graduated from Smith College, she became a teacher and then an editor of children's books. Ideas from Martin's books came from personal experiences, including her own babysitting as a child.

Martin lives in Hudson Valley, New York.
