Amali Ward

Amali Ward (born 2 July 1988) is one of the top 12 finalists in the second series of Australian Idol, in Australia. As well as being the only finalist from Tasmania, she is also one of the youngest, being a 16 year old school student at the Friends' School in Hobart.

Her unique looks come from her mixed heritage, which is half white Australian, and half Sri Lankan.

Amali was ranked third last in the first round of the finals, but made it through cleanly in the second round.
