Pramiracetam
Pramiracetam (amacetam, CI 879) is a nootropic derived from piracetam, but is more potent (lower dosage is used). Its chemical name is 2-(2-oxopyrrolidin-1-yl)-N-[2-(diisopropylamino)ethyl]acetamide.
Pramiracetam was developed by Parke-Davis based on Piracetam, and is 8–30 times stronger than Piracetam.
Ancedotal reports say that Pramiracetam is the strongest of the pyrrolidone analogs. 300mg a day is enough for profound memory and concentration effects, vs. 2400mg-7000mg for piracetam. Scattered other reports say that its effect is amazing for the strong increase in motivation, and logical/thought processing abilities, but empathy/emotional suffers badly. It does not with Aniracetam (again, anecdotal), another fat-soluble analog of less potency, nor with Piracetam. Also goes by the trade name Neupramir.
