Alūksnes is a county in Latvia, located in the north-east of the country 202km from capital city Riga. Borders with Estonia (border 103,8 km), Russia (border 46,4 km), Valkas county(51,7 km), Gulbenes county(98,1 km), Balvu county(57,4 km). The main city in the county is Alūksne.
