Altaic people

The Altaic peoples are numerous ethnic and linguistic body of native peoples of Asia and East Europe (including the European part of Turkey). They speak Altaic languages.

The following subgroups of the Altaic peoples:

• Turkics (Central Asia and Asia Minor)
• Mongols (Central Asia)
• Tungus or Evenks (North Asia)
