"Alright" was a 1990 hit song by R&B diva Janet Jackson. Based upon a hip-hop beat and sampling Lyn Collins' legendary 1972 single, "Think (About It)", the song became one of Jackson's most notable tunes in her extensive catalogue. The song peaked at #4 Pop, #2 R&B and #1 Dance. It became the fourth consecutive single off the Rhythm Nation 1814 album to hit #1 on the dance charts helping Jackson break a record set by Madonna.
