Allan Howe

Allan Turner Howe (September 6, 1927 – December 14, 2000) was a politician from the state of Utah.

Howe was born near Murray, Utah and he graduated from the University of Utah. Howe was elected to the House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1974. On June 13, 1976, Howe was arrested on charges of soliciting two policewomen posing as prostitutes. Howe claimed that he was set up and he refused to resign or end his race for re-election. Howe lost by a large margin to Dan Marriott in November 1976.
