Ali-Ollie Woodson

Ali-Ollie Woodson (born 1951 in Detroit, Michigan) is an African-American R&B singer, songwriter, and keyboardist. He ismost notable for being lead snger of Motown act The Temptations from 1984 to 1986, and from 1988 to 1994. While in the group, he co-wrote, co-produced, and sings lead on the 1984 Temptations single "Treat Her Like a Lady", which was a #2 hit on the US R&B charts.

Since leaving the group, Woodson began a solo career, and often tour with a Temptations-like revue called Alli-Ollie Woodson & the Emperors of Soul (Emperors of Soul being the name of the Tempts' 1994 box set).
