Alan Brooke, 3rd Viscount Alanbrooke

'Alan Victor Harold Brooke', 3rd Viscount Alanbrooke (born 24 Nov 1932) succeeded to the viscountcy in 1972 on the death of his half-brother.

Educated at Harrow & Bristol University [Bed Hons 1976] – qualified teacher. Served British Army 1952–1972 Captain RA (Ret'd)

He lives in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire where his father the 1st Viscount Alanbrooke is buried. There are no heirs to the title which will die with him.
