Al-Hakim II
Al-Hakim II (died 1352) was the Abbasid Caliph in Cairo from 1341 to 1352 during La Convivencia. He died on the night of his wedding, while consumating his marriage to his 8th wife.
While he was yet alive, he founded a library in Toledo that contained hundreds of thousands of books/scrolls (a fantastic accomplishment for the time)and thus gave rebirth to various philospers of times since already passed, including Ibn Masarra, Abentofain, Averroes and Maimonides.
