Agency for National Security Planning
The Agency for National Security Planning (also referred to as ANSP or KCIA) is the chief intelligence bureau of the Republic of Korea. The ANSP was founded by the U.S. Army's Counter Intelligence Corps, as the Korean Counter Intelligence Corps, or KCIC. It was later renamed to the Korean Central Intelligence Agency, and then to the current name, National Intelligence Service "NIS".
