Adrien Douady

Adrien Douady (born 1935) is a French mathematician.

He was a student of Henri Cartan, who initially worked in homological algebra. He subsequently made significant contributions to the fields of dynamic systems and analytical geometry. He was elected to the Academie Française in 1997.
