Minor Slytherins
The following are minor characters from the Harry Potter series in Slytherin House. The characters Draco Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, also in Slytherin, all have their own article.
Table of contents |
Miles Bletchley
Miles Bletchley is a member of the Slytherin Quidditch team, where he plays the Keeper position. He once hit Alicia Spinnet with a jinx from behind in the library just before Gryffindor-Slytherin match in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Since Bletchley was at least a second year when Harry started at Hogwarts (he is mentioned in The Philosopher's Stone as a member of the Quidditch team), and is still at Hogwarts in Order of the Phoenix, it is safe to assume he is at least two years older than Harry.
Millicent Bulstrode

| House | Slytherin |
| Blood 'purity' | Unknown |
| Loyalty | Loyal to Draco Malfoy |
| Film portrayer | Helen Stuart |
| First appearance | Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets |
Millicent Bulstrode is in Harry's year and reminds him of a picture he saw in Holidays with Hags. She was a member of the Inquisitorial Squad during Harry's fifth year[HP5].
In her second year, Hermione attempts to assume Millicent's appearance using the Polyjuice Potion[HP2]. However, she accidentally takes the appearance of Millicent's cat.
Hermione also dueled Millicent in the Dueling Club earlier in the year during which Millicent attacked Hermione physically rather than using magic. It was during this duel that Hermione accidentally took a cat's hair rather than Millicent's off of her robes.
Marcus Flint

| Loyalty | Unknown |
| Film portrayer | Scott Fern |
| First appearance | Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone |
Marcus Flint is Captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team during Harry Potter's first three years at Hogwarts. Harry describes Flint as looking like he has some troll blood in him. Flint and Gryffindor Captain Oliver Wood seem to share a mutual dislike, as their "handshakes" before matches often turn into attempts to break each other's fingers.
Marcus Flint is a sixth year student in Harry's first year and is still in school two years later when he should have already graduated. Author J.K. Rowling explained this away by saying that he failed his exams[1]. Explanation notwithstanding, Harry Potter fans have taken to calling minor textual errors in the series "flints," after this particular mistake.
Montague
Montague is captain and a Chaser of the Slytherin Quidditch team. Montague is a French name. Therefore, it is more than likely he is French. Fred and George Weasley force him head first into a Vanishing Cabinet after he tried to dock fifty points of Gryffindor. He turned up several weeks later jammed in a toilet and remained dazed for weeks.
Theodore Nott

| First appearance | Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix |
Theodore Nott is a fictional character from the Harry Potter books. He's in Slytherin, but isn't friends with Malfoy and other Slytherin students. His father, Nott is a very elderly widower and Death Eater. According to the author of the books, J.K. Rowling, Theodore is a clever loner who doesn't feel the need to join any gang, including Malfoy's.
Theodore Nott is the only known Slytherin of Harry Potter's year who can see Thestrals[2], meaning he has seen someone die.
A scene that J.K. Rowling eventually cut from both Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire would have featured Draco Malfoy and Theodore Nott talking in the garden of Malfoy Mansion, which would have been one of the few times that Malfoy would be seen conversing which someone he considered an equal.
Pansy Parkinson

| Loyalty | Loyal to Draco Malfoy |
| Film portrayer | Genevieve Gaunt |
| First appearance | Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone |
Pansy Parkinson is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series. She is often seen as Draco Malfoy's female counterpart. Pansy Parkinson was Draco Malfoy's date at the Yule Ball and fawned all over him after he "broke" his arm in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, she joined the Inquisitorial Squad.
Pansy Parkinson appeared for a few seconds in the film for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, played by Genevieve Gaunt.

| First appearance | Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince |
Blaise Zabini is a fictional character mentioned only in passing[HP1]. At first, the only things known about him are that he is a Slytherin of the same year as Harry Potter. For many years Blaise's gender and nature were hotly debated in fan forums, and both male and female versions of the character were heavily featured in fanfiction. This was mostly due to Blaise's elusivity in canon and lack of further explanation on J.K. Rowling's part. However, it is now known that he is a male who will appear in the sixth and seventh Harry Potter books [3].
Warrington

| Eye colour | Unknown |
| House | Slytherin |

Warrington is listed as a Chaser for Slytherin in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and as someone who tried to get into the Triwizard Tournament. To the Gryffindors, he apparently resembles a sloth.
