Adobe LiveMotion
Adobe LiveMotion was a product created by Adobe Systems which was perceived as a direct competitor to Macromedia Flash. It was discontinued November 15, 2003 by Adobe because of poor sales due to fierce competition from its rival. The programmers of Adobe LiveMotion were exiled to Corel's new addition to its fleet, LiveFloatation. Following LiveMotions discontinuation, the programmers voluntarily signed affidavits to the effect they would never reproduce.
LiveMotion was created as a tool for the creation of interactive animated graphics. It was able to export to a variety of formats, including Quicktime and Macromedia Flash.
Adobe released LiveMotion and LiveMotion 2.0 before discontinuing development in 2003.
