Adi Dravida

Adi Dravida is a term coined by a Tamil philosopher E.V.Periyar who was up against the casteism and division among the people based on castes.

Dravidian is the name of a race that exists predominantly at the southern part of India, but if you ask them only the southern most part of India can recognize it but not all. So the term "Dravidian" is still at book level and not common other than Tamil Nadu, a state where people can easily understand the meaning of it.

ADI Dravida means the Old natives of Dravida land. But it is figured in the caste of "untouchables". Adi dravidas caste include Paraiah, Pallas, Chakkili, arunthathiyar, etc. who were skilled in particular professions and known for their hard work.

Even they were considered as Kings in the olden days and they knew trading with other countries; they had a great civilization until Hinduism arrived and cast the natives as untouchables.

Leaders of Tamil Nadu are revolutionary and up against the false beliefs of Hinduism and many Adi dravidas converted to Christianity, Islam and Budhisms.
