Adelina Domingues
Adelina (Engargiola) Domingues (February 19, 1888 – August 21, 2002) was born in Cape Verde when it was a colony of Portugal, and married there in 1906. She moved to the United States in 1907, where she succeeded another immigrant, Grace Clawson, as the oldest documented person in the U.S. when Mrs. Clawson died in May 2002.
