Ada, Serbia

The town of Ada (sharing the same name in both Hungarian and Serbian) lies in the North Banat District of Vojvodina, Serbia and Montenegro. Other that Ada there is one other town Mohol/Mol and three villages in the municipality: Törökfalu/Utrine, Völgypart-Nagyvölgy/Mol-Obornjača and Valkaisor/Sterijino. 18,994 people live in the municipality of whom 14,558 are Hungarian forming an absolute majority of 76.6%. All local communities have a Hungarian majority. (Census 2002).
