(Redirected from Abdelazys)
Alchabitius was the common European name of a 10th century Arabian astrologer, also known by the transliterated Arabic name Abdelazys. His treatise on astrology was highly prized in Europe and was first printed in a Latin translation in 1473. There were further editions, the most famous being Alchabitius cum commento, translated by John of Seville and published in Venice in 1503.
