Abbe sine condition

Abbe sine condition was the masterwork of Ernest Abbe. The condition relates to a formula that can calculate the exact size, shape and position of any lens for a microscope. This mathematical expression in turn improves image quality greatly by allowing more clear and precisely aligned images. The condition was first used in the design of microscope lenses of Carl Zeiss.
