Aachen Gospels
Folio 13 recto contains the portraits of the four Evangelists.
The Aachen Gospels (Aachen, Cathedra Treasury, s.n.) is a 9th century illuminated Gospel Book. It was created during the Carolingian renaissance and was illustrated in a style derived from Byzantine art.
