8mm (movie)

8mm is a 1999 mystery/thriller film, directed by Joel Schumacher. In the film, Nicolas Cage plays the private investigator Tom Welles, hired by a widow who found a film, depicting the rape and murder of a girl, in her dead husband's safe. Welles now has to find out whether it is an authentic snuff film, and discover the identity of the girl.
