Discoverer R. Luther, 1860

58 Concordia is a quite large Main belt asteroid. It is classified as a C-type asteroid, so its surface is very dark and it is likely carbonaceous in composition.

It was discovered by R. Luther on March 24, 1860. He named it after Concordia, the Roman goddess of harmony.
