4.50 from Paddington is a crime novel by Agatha Christie, about a murder being witnessesed on one train by a passenger in another when their paths cross, and no one except Miss Marple believing her due to the lack of a body.

Made into a film Murder, She Said (1961) starring Margaret Rutherford and a BBC TV movie starring Joan Hickson in the 1980s.
