1985 Beirut Car Bombing

The Beirut car bombing of March 8, 1985 killed 85 people and wounded more than 200 in Beirut, Lebanon. The car bomb detonated outside an apartment used by a Hezbollah leader and there are allegations that American or Israeli agents planted the bomb in an attempt to kill him.
