Oldsmobile 4-4-2

The Oldsmobile 4–4–2 was Oldsmobile's first muscle car. The Oldsmobile Division needed their own product to compete with other similar General Motors cars, namely Pontiac's GTO and Chevrolet SS models. The 4–4–2 was powered by the division's ultra-high compression 330 cubic inch (5.4 L) V8 with dual exhaust and a four-speed manual transmission.
The 4–4–2 was released in mid-1964 with 2999 units built. The designation "4–4–2" stood for "four on the floor," four-barrel carburetor and two exhaust pipes.
