TSV 1860 München, also known as Löwen (The Lions), is a German sports club in Munich with over 23,000 members, first created July 15, 1848. For a while banned for 'republican activities,' it was reestablished May 17, 1860 as TSV München von 1860 e.V.
It is best known for its football section, which was relegated from the top level of the German Bundesliga after the 2003-04 season.
