1-Speed Bike

Aidan Girt, aka 1-Speed Bike aka Bottleskup Flenkenkenmike (also a drummer for Montreal-based Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Exhaust) has created his own world out of an eclectic mixture of electronic sounds. Of all of Constellation Records' bands this is probably the one that delivers the more humourously sarcastic political awareness. From Constellation Records' 1-Speed Bike website:

1-speed bike beat manipulations are characterized by live drum phrases that pulse & breathe with organic dynamism, chopped & looped to form the backbone for melodic passages that range from the irreverent to the sublime.

His debut album contains a remix of a track by Fly Pan Am.
